Hi! I'm Sydney — your photographer, your hype girl, and the person who makes sure your timeline actually works.

I am so glad you're here! Before I was a wedding photographer, I worked for a wedding planner. So I've seen weddings from the other side — the side that has to figure out what happens when the ceremony runs long, the shuttle's late, or family photos eat into the time you wanted for cocktails with your friends.


That experience changed how I shoot weddings. I'm not just there to document your day. I'm there to help build a day that actually holds together — so the "relax and enjoy it" advice everyone gives you is something you can actually do, instead of something that sounds nice and falls apart by 4pm.

I love that you either chose Chicago (or maybe Chicago chose you) — it's the greatest city on earth, and I know it well enough to help your timeline work with it, not against it.

What working with me actually looks like

I know how a wedding day should flow, because I've built that flow before. That means:

  • A timeline with real breathing room in it, not just a rigid schedule
  • Someone who can problem-solve on the fly if something shifts — because I've done it before, from the planning chair
  • Help navigating the family opinions and pressure that show up during planning, so the day you get is the one you actually wanted, not the one everyone else voted for

My style behind the camera is warm, elegant, and bright. I'm an expert at reading the room — I know when to step back and document, and when to jump in and help keep things moving. My clients describe me as calm and patient, and I'll be your biggest hype girl starting on our first call and long after your wedding day.
